Shelby's balloon is the red and Katie's is the pink. We used this to calculate how much we breathe in one breath. This was done by first buying spherical balloons. Regular irregular balloons will not work since the volume is hard to calculate. We then stretched the balloons out so it would accurately test our outtake of breath. Finally we simply blew a very normal, somewhat exaggerated breath to simulate what underwater breathing might be like, and then tied the balloons end off and tested volume.
