Originally we had planned to use a brown paper bag to find our breath outtake instead of balloons. Our experiment consisted of filling the bag up with something that we could find the volume of easily since the bag was irregularly shaped due to breathing. We found the volume and filled our bag with the delicious, yet possibly project ruining cereal Trix. The reason this idea did not work was due to the small space in between each piece of cereal. We did not take the extra space into consideration thereby leaving the total volume we found of the bag unsuccessful. We did have fun messing our project up though by having a "Guess how many Trix are in the bag" contest which Katie won hands down. The total amount of trix we counted was 1,834 with Katie guessing a total of 2,080. We made our experiment harder than it should've been, so I suggest when trying to find the volume of your breath outtake use something simple that's laying around the house such as a balloon or a beach ball.
